Ratouli Foods is a B2B wholesale supplier of salted, dried and smoked fish for the West-African, Surinamese and Caribbean trade. This is our largest line, built over 14 years for importers, distributors, ethnic supermarkets and other wholesalers across the EU and UK. At the centre of the range is Bakkeljauw: salted saithe and pollock, the saltfish that diaspora kitchens buy week after week.
Alongside it we carry stockfish in COD and TUSK, sold under the names okporoko and panla, plus Makayabu (salted dried fish) for Central-African and Congolese buyers. We supply salted herring including Eling and Bokking, smoked catfish (Koepila), smoked barracuda and mackerel.
