The brand and the producer

Bigi-mama is the house brand of our distribution partner, built around authentic African products for shops across Europe. For the frozen meat range the label relies on our facility: we process, cut and pack Shaki, Abodi, cow feet and more to the brand's specifications, under HACCP and EU approval NL208262EG.

The division of work is simple. The brand and its distributor network handle sales to shops across Europe; we handle production. If you stock Bigi-mama meat products today, they were made in Volendam.

What we produce for the Bigi-mama label

The Bigi-mama frozen meat range covers the West African and Surinamese classics: Shaki (tripe), Abodi, burned cow feet African style, cow ears and round-about. We supply the same specialties from the same production line under our own labels, with identical craft and food-safety standards.
